AJS: Smaller navies were quick to take up the potential of fast attack craft and the use of the torpedo in war. This work is a survey of the practice (1885) of the time. The text is in Spanish and the plates are well drawn. The work is sometimes found in two volumes, or bound up as a single volume as here.
